2. No Data Storage

We assure you that intelli-text does not store any of your data. All your interactions, including saved preferences, are stored locally on your computer, ensuring your data remains with you.  When generating responses through our Chrome extension,  the highlighted text on the web page along with any prompt you input is passed into ChatGPT's API.  However, that data is not used to further train or refine the model. While OpenAI retains the data for a duration of 30 days to address any potential safety and operational concerns, it is subsequently deleted, ensuring that users' information remains confidential and protected. 

3. Chat GPT's Data Handling

The Chat GPT API, which powers our extension, does not train its model in real-time based on user input. This means that your queries and interactions don't contribute to any learning or modification of the Chat GPT model. Your data remains transient, further enhancing your data protection.

While we've implemented robust privacy measures, users should always exercise caution. Please refrain from entering or highlighting sensitive personal or financial information while using the extension. intelli-text will not be held responsible for any data willingly passed into the tool by its users.
